Real Madrid star Brahim Diaz has returned to his team’s group training, after a relatively long absence due to injury.
The Moroccan international had injured his right thigh adductor muscle during the Real Sociedad match last September, and initial expectations indicated that he would be absent for 3 months, but Diaz broke all expectations and returned early and fully recovered.
Brahim Diaz’s position on participating in El Clasico
According to the newspaper “AS”, Brahim Diaz will be part of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad participating in El Clasico against Barcelona next week.
Ancelotti decided not to rely on Diaz in the Borussia Dortmund match on Tuesday in the Champions League, and that he will be on the bench afterwards in the Barcelona match.
The latest tests that Diaz underwent proved that he has fully recovered from the injury, and he did not feel any pain when he participated in group training, which qualifies him to be present in the Clasico normally.
As usual, it is expected that the 24-year-old will participate for a limited period in the Clasico if he is given the opportunity, as Ancelotti does not intend to risk him by involving him for a long time while he is returning from a severe injury.
It is most likely that Diaz will be able to participate in the next Valencia match on November 2 in full.

Diaz played a major role with his team last season, as he was the golden substitute, which is proven by the numbers, as he participated in 44 matches in all tournaments, during which he scored 12 goals and made 9 others.
As for this season, the Moroccan did not have much time, as Ancelotti relied on him in only 6 matches before the injury, for a total of 126 minutes, during which he scored one goal and made another.
