After the million pound fine.. Al-Ahly imposes a new financial penalty on Emam Ashour

Egyptian media reported that Al-Ahly’s sports director, Mohamed Ramadan, decided to impose a new penalty on Emam Ashour.

Al-Ahly had announced on Thursday that it would punish Ashour with a large fine of one million pounds after his quarrel with team captain Mohamed El-Shennawy.

The main reason for the quarrel was Ashour’s anger over Marcel Koller’s decision not to include him against Stade d’Abidjan, and how he expressed that in the locker room.

After imposing the first penalty on Thursday, Emam Ashour reposted a photo of a person in the gym, commenting, “You hated me in the holy month, man,” which some considered a reference to Mohamed Ramadan.

Although the player later deleted this photo, Ramadan decided to impose a new financial penalty on Imam Ashour, the value of which has not yet been revealed.

It was said in the last hours that Emam Ashour will apologize to his colleagues and announce his acceptance of the decision of the first and second financial penalty so that he can return again to the Egyptian club’s training.
