Journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that Inter’s management succeeded in including distinguished players during the summer transfer period, hours after winning the Italian League Shield.
The Nerazzurri won by two goals to one in the derby over Milan, and with it they were announced as champions of Serie A, 5 rounds before the end of the competition.
Inter sports director Ausilio announced that his team succeeded in signing two deals, without revealing their identities.
According to Romano, the first deal will be to include Iranian striker Mehdi Taremi from Porto on a free transfer.
As for the second deal, it will sign Napoli star Peter Zielinski, also on a free transfer, at the end of his contract with the South Club.
Inter was also able to reach an agreement with coach Simone Inzaghi to renew his contract, in an important step to impose stability at San Siro in preparation for a coming season that will not be easy.
