The Daily Mail newspaper published the classification decided by FIFA for the clubs participating in the 2025 Club World Cup.
The cup is scheduled to be held according to the new system with the participation of 32 clubs from different continents of the world, and for the first time in the United States of America.
The 32 clubs will be divided into 8 groups, just like in the World Cup for national teams, as each group includes 4 teams, the first two of which qualify for the round of 16.
The tournament draw will be held on December 5 in Miami, and the tournament will start between June 15 and July 13 of next year.
FIFA will divide the clubs into 4 classifications, and will ensure that the major clubs or those from the same country do not meet each other in the first round, as well as depending on the sporting factor.
According to the Daily Mail, the first two classifications will include European and South American clubs.
The Arab clubs, represented by Al Ahly, Esperance and Wydad from Africa and Al Hilal and Al Ain from Asia, will be in the third and fourth pots.
