Al-Ahly announces the sale of Kendouci.. and Amir Tawfik leaves the contracting committee

Al-Ahly announced in an official statement its decision regarding its loaned player Ahmed Kendouci after his statements in which he accused some officials in the administration of receiving commissions in transfer deals.

The Algerian international had said that the failure of his compatriot Zinedine Belaid’s transfer to Al-Ahly last summer was due to agents and commissions, so the Egyptian club decided to summon the player for investigation.

The director of the contracting committee, Amir Tawfik, was also investigated to determine the validity of what Kendouci said about his requirement of the presence of specific agents in the deals for any player to transfer to Al-Ahly.

According to the statement of the Red Club, Al-Ahly decided to sell Ahmed Kendouci, with major amendments to the contracting committee.

Kendouci will continue with Ceramica Cleopatra on loan until the end of the season, after which he will be sold, noting that his contract with Al-Ahly still extends until the summer of 2027.

At the same time, Amir Tawfik announced that he will leave the presidency of the contracting committee at Al-Ahly, while continuing in his other position as executive director of the football company.
