The Portuguese newspaper O Jogo reported that Al Hilal had entered into negotiations with Rafael Leao in order to include the Milan star next summer.
It is expected that the Saudi League clubs will continue their policy of bringing in the best players in the world during the next Mercato, and Al Hilal in particular plans to strengthen its ranks with heavy-caliber deals.
One of those expected deals is Leao, whose contract with Milan is still valid until the summer of 2027, but he could leave if the Italian club meets the value of the release clause (175 million euros).
According to the latest report, Liao’s father will arrive in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, next week in order to negotiate all the details with Al Hilal’s management.
The Portuguese mediator, Mario Rui, who is close to the Saudi clubs and who contributed to Al Hilal’s signing of Neymar last summer, as well as Otavio with Al Nassr, will be present in the negotiations.
Perhaps those most affected by this deal, if it takes place, will be Paris Saint-Germain, as the French club was placing it as its first choice to replace Kylian Mbappe after the Frenchman left for Real Madrid.
