Al-Hilal on the Verge of Signing Barcelona star

Al-Riyadiyah newspaper reported that Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal has submitted a formal offer to Barcelona for the services of Vitor Roque.

The Catalan club is eager to offload Roque just six months after his arrival at the Camp Nou, as the Brazilian has failed to make the expected impact or integrate into the team.

According to the report, Barcelona is very welcoming of Al-Hilal’s offer, but the only current obstacle is the player himself, who initially refuses to join the Saudi league and prefers to stay in Europe.

Sport revealed that Al-Hilal’s offer for the 19-year-old exceeds €30 million, which could solve many of Barcelona’s economic problems.

It is expected that Al-Hilal will succeed in convincing Roque to join them in the coming days, especially since Barcelona has clearly informed the player and his agent that they do not even intend to loan him out, so it’s either a permanent sale or he will be on the bench next season.

It is worth noting that Roque played 13 matches for Barcelona last season, most of them as a substitute for a total of 353 minutes, during which he scored only two goals.
