Al-Ittihad concludes two heavy-caliber deals

Al-Ittihad continues to strengthen its ranks in an ideal manner, and has already concluded two heavy-caliber deals days before the end of the Mercato in Saudi Arabia.

The club announced in an official statement that it had obtained the signature of Paris Saint-Germain defender Danilo Pereira, in a deal estimated at 5 million euros.

In the same context, journalist “Fabrizio Romano” confirmed that Al-Ittihad had completed another deal, which is the inclusion of Steven Bergwijn, the star of Ajax, the Netherlands.

The Saudi club reached an agreement with Ajax on the deal for 25 million euros, so that Bergwijn would support the left wing position, as coach Laurent Blanc had hoped.

Bergwijn was the third choice for the Al-Ittihad management in the wing position, as the “Dean” wanted to sign Leandro Trossard, but Arsenal refused to give him up, then tried with Galeno.

The agreement faltered in the final touches between Al-Ittihad and Porto regarding Galeno, so the Saudi club turned its attention to Bergwijn and quickly concluded the deal.

It is noteworthy that this summer, the Union also included Moussa Diaby in a record deal from Aston Villa for 60 million euros, and also contracted with Algerian Houssem Aouar from Roma.
