Al-Nassr reveals the truth about Talisca’s move to Fenerbahce

Talisca could move to Fenarbache

The news has not stopped in the past few hours about Anderson Talisca on his way to leave Al-Nassr after a large Turkish offer to sign him.

Talisca is one of Al-Nassr’s stars this season, but the Saudi club has been linked with international professional players recently, which has increased speculation about the possibility of dispensing with one of its stars to make room on the roster.

Will Saud Abdul Hamid return to Saudi Arabia but through Al-Nassr?

Fenerbahce wants to sign Talisca

Turkish media reported that Fenerbahce is still interested in signing Talisca after its previous attempt last summer.

The Turkish club’s desire to include the 32-year-old comes based on the desire of coach Jose Mourinho, who has already informed his club of the need to provide offensive support in the upcoming winter transfer period.

Speculation has increased that the Brazilian player has agreed to the Turkish offer as well as Al-Nassr, after Adrian Esparraga, assistant to Fernando Hierro, Al-Nassr’s sports director, appeared in Türkiye in the past few hours.

Al-Nassr confirms Talisca’s stay until the end of the season

After this news spread like wildfire, Al-Nassr officials began to respond through the Saudi media, and confirmed Talisca’s stay until the end of the season and that what was being said was baseless.

According to the Al-Riyadh newspaper, quoting a source within the club, Adrian Esparraga’s presence in Turkey came to attend a preparatory meeting for the International Transfer Room to discuss player transfer regulations and has nothing to do with negotiations over Talisca.

So far, the Al-Nassr management does not intend in any way to allow Talisca to leave, regardless of the proposed offers, and coach Stefano Pioli considers him one of the most important pillars in his team.

Talisca’s numbers this season

The former Benfica star played 17 matches this season in all tournaments with Al-Nassr, scoring 8 goals, 6 in the Saudi League and 2 in the AFC Champions League for the elite.

Talisca joined Al-Nassr in the summer of 2021 from Guangzhou Evergrande of China for 8 million euros, and since then he has played 102 matches for the Saudi club, scoring 76 goals.

Talisca has good experience in the Turkish league, as he represented Besiktas for two years from 2016 and 2018, which explains the secret of Fenerbahce and more than one club there’s interest in him, knowing that his contract with Al-Nassr extends until the summer of 2026.
