Al Nassr has reached an agreement with Brazilian club Atletico Paranaense to sign goalkeeper Pinto during the current summer transfer window.
Al Nassr was looking for a replacement for David Ospina to protect its goal, and the first option was to try to sign Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson.
Al Nassr offered 30 million euros to the management of the English club, which rejected the offer and demanded 60 million euros to allow the Brazilian to leave the Etihad Stadium.
Al Nassr immediately withdrew after City’s exorbitant demands and turned to the second option, Pinto, who will not cost the club’s coffers more than 18 million euros.
According to photos of the Brazilian goalkeeper, he is currently on his way to Portugal to join the Luis Castro squad’s training camp in preparation for the new season.
Pinto was also on the agenda of the Al Ittihad management, but Al Nassr this time succeeded in snatching him up and securing the deal in its favor.
It is worth noting that the 26-year-old goalkeeper is considered one of the most talented goalkeepers in the world, and he was even on Inter Milan’s list to replace Yann Sommer this summer.
