Ancelotti: Angry at Bellingham, Mbappe Ready for Super Cup

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti laughed when he recalled that Jude Bellingham didn’t answer his call but responded quickly when Vinicius Junior contacted him.

Bellingham has yet to join the club’s pre-season training camp due to his vacation, but Ancelotti assures that he is in constant contact with all the players.

The Italian coach said in a press interview, “Yesterday I was angry with Bellingham because I called him and he didn’t answer. I asked Vinicius to call him and he answered immediately (laughs).”

He added, “We have to work hard when all the players return to Madrid, we want to create an enthusiastic atmosphere before the Atalanta match.”

He concluded, “I assure everyone that we are capable of competing with this squad and we will fight to win the seven titles we are participating in this season.”

At the same time, Ancelotti confirmed that Kylian Mbappe will be ready to participate in the Super Cup, indicating that his current plans are for the Frenchman to start directly in the starting lineup.

Mbappe will begin his pre-season preparations on August 7th, meaning he will have only one week to be ready for the Atalanta match.
