The Belgian goalkeeper participated in the match that ended in a 1-1 draw, and was one of the reasons for the crisis that erupted with the fans, which led to the match being stopped.
According to Ancelotti, Courtois suffered a muscle injury after the match.
Courtois is scheduled to undergo medical tests on Tuesday morning to determine the nature of his injury and the expected length of his absence from the stadiums.
In principle, it seems that the 31-year-old’s participation in the match against Lille in the Champions League next Wednesday is at risk.
In the event that Courtois is absent, it will not be a major crisis for Real Madrid, given the presence of goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, who played most of last season during the injury of the main goalkeeper with the cruciate ligament.
