Ancelotti announces the absence of Mbappe and Bellingham from the Leganes match!

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham will not participate in the Leganes match on Wednesday in the 2025 Spanish King’s Cup.

In the press conference before the match, Ancelotti said, “Mbappe has a bruise in his left leg, he will not be able to participate against Leganes.”

He also added, “Vinicius did not train today but will be available tomorrow, as for Jude (Bellingham), he will not be able to participate.”

The Italian coach denied the possibility of relying on Fede Valverde in central defense, as he said, “No, we have Jacopo, Raul Asensio and Tchouameni, while Valverde can play as a right-back.”

He concluded, speaking about David Alaba’s injury, “Unfortunately, we lost important players, something we did not think about. Alaba was going to play tomorrow but something happened that we did not think about. It is an emergency moment. We have to endure.”

After facing Leganes, Real Madrid will face a tough task against Atletico Madrid in La Liga and then Manchester City in the Champions League. During that period, Alaba and Antonio Rudiger will continue to be absent due to injury, but Mbappe and Bellingham will return normally.
