Ancelotti confirms Carvajal and Bellingham injuries

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that the duo Jude Bellingham and Dani Carvajal suffered injuries during Saturday’s match against Espanyol in the Spanish League.

Carvajal came off after the Merengue scored the equalizer, while Bellingham continued for 83 minutes before being replaced by Antonio Rudiger in the match that Real won 4-1.

Ancelotti spoke about Carvajal’s injury and said: “Carvajal is suffering from pain, he suffered a bruise, but his injury is not serious.”

As for Bellingham, he said: “Bellingham suffered from pain in the shoulder but he was able to complete the match, we will evaluate his condition in the coming days, but there is nothing worrying so far.”

He concluded: “Bellingham always played with a bandage on his shoulder but he removed it this season and the problem returned again and was resolved very well. His exit was a technical decision and not an injury.”

It is noteworthy that Real Madrid is suffering from injuries to the trio David Alaba, Dani Ceballos and Eduardo Camavinga, and the latter is close to returning to the stadiums as he is currently undergoing a recovery phase.
