The “Relevo” network claims that Carlo Ancelotti has informed the Real Madrid management of the need to sell two of his players during the remaining days of the current summer transfer window.
Ancelotti has identified Nico Paz and Mario Martin to leave his squad, as their chances of playing are almost non-existent in light of the constellation of big players in attack and midfield.
According to the report, Ancelotti asked the management to let Paz and Martin leave in the same way that Dani Carvajal did in the past, so that the door remains open for them to return to the Santiago Bernabeu easily.
Real sold Carvajal to Bayer Leverkusen in 2012 but included a buy-back clause. After the right-back excelled in the Bundesliga, Real bought him back in 2013 for €6.5 million.
This is the closest formula for selling Paz and Martin, and Real also plans to add a clause allowing them to get 20% of any future sale of them.
The problem with selling 19-year-old Nico Paz and Mario Martin is Florentino Perez’s management’s financial demands, as they want to make at least €20 million from them, and no club in the world is ready for that now.
Paz plays in attacking positions, which are crowded with stars after the signing of Kylian Mbappe and Endrick, while Martin, 20, plays in midfield, which is also crowded with players despite the retirement of Toni Kroos.
