Relevo network confirmed that Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti does not intend to rely on Jesus Vallejo this season in any way.
Vallejo returned from his loan last season to Granada, and the management informed him of their desire for him to leave, but the player insisted on continuing at the Santiago Bernabeu until the end of his contract in the summer of 2025.
According to the report, Ancelotti wants Vallejo to leave and is not convinced of his abilities, and since the preparation period for the new season in the summer he has been completely out of the Italian coach’s calculations.
Although Real Madrid suffers from a severe shortage in the center-back position, Ancelotti will not rely on Vallejo, and prefers to bring back Aurelien Tchouameni or rely on Dani Carvajal and not rely on the 27-year-old.
Interestingly, Real Madrid’s management agrees with Ancelotti on this decision, and believes that the player’s abilities do not qualify him to participate with the team, and even offered Vallejo to facilitate his departure in the summer, but his position was firm to continue even if he did not participate.
It is worth noting that Real Madrid is currently suffering from injuries to Eder Militao and Aurelien Tchouameni, and thus there is only Rudiger in the heart of the defense, however, Ancelotti’s ideas and plans do not include Vallejo.
