Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti reassured the club’s fans about the condition of the injured players and their situation in the match against Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final.
Fede Valverde and Jude Bellingham left the Mallorca match suffering from muscle injuries, in addition to Aurelien Tchouameni who suffered a head injury.
During the press conference before El Clasico scheduled to be held in Jeddah, Ancelotti announced that all Real Madrid players are ready to play the upcoming match against Barcelona.
The Italian spoke about the difficulty of the confrontation, saying, “The result cannot be predicted, we are trying to do our best and try to win another title and open 2025 with a championship, Barcelona is our historical rival and it will be a very complicated match.”
He also added, “The individual skills of the players will be an important aspect, and we have to balance between teamwork and individual work, it is El Clasico in the end.”
“Winning the Super Cup helps us to be better. When we don’t win the title, we don’t win the Champions League. The title always motivates us for what’s coming in the season.
Defeat certainly won’t be good, but we’ll keep moving forward in any case.” Real Madrid met Barcelona this season at the Santiago Bernabéu in October and were defeated 4-0 in La Liga.
