Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti believes that the 2024 Ballon d’Or has been decided in favour of Vinicius Junior.
The Italian’s statements came during the press conference ahead of Sunday’s match against Atletico Madrid in the Spanish League.
When Ancelotti was asked about the Ballon d’Or, he replied, “Vinicius deserves to win it and I think he will, but if it doesn’t happen, it’s not the end of the world.”
Regarding the chants and the expected attack on the Brazilian star at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium, he said, “We are facing an entertainment show (a football match), all the players are presenting their skills for a great show, I hope we realise that.”
As for the many yellow cards Vinicius receives, “We talked about it in the locker room, we can only avoid these cards if we stop the unnecessary objections.”
It is noteworthy that Ancelotti announced Eduardo Camavinga’s readiness to play against Atletico Madrid after recovering from the injury that kept him off the field for more than a month.
