Arsenal star confirmed fit for Real Madrid clash

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has announced that Bukayo Saka has completed his recovery from his recent injury and will be back in action starting this week.

Saka has been out of action since last December due to a hamstring injury that required surgery, and there were doubts he would feature again this season for the Gunners.

“Saka is ready to return,” Arteta said in a press conference ahead of Tuesday’s Premier League match against Fulham. “He’s done everything carefully and calmly, so now it’s about him being back on the pitch at the right time.”

The Spaniard was asked if Saka would play a few minutes against Fulham, and he responded, “Yes,” confirming that his team has gained a great weapon and that he is pleased to have him back at this crucial time of the season.

Before his injury, Saka had made 24 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring nine goals and providing 14 assists.

Thus, the 22-year-old will almost certainly lead the Gunners against Real Madrid, scheduled for next week at the Emirates Stadium in the first leg of the quarter-finals.
