Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta believes that winning every game next season in the Premier League is the only way for his team to snatch the title from Manchester City’s clutches.
The Gunners lost the Premier League title last season by just two points to Pep Guardiola’s side despite an exceptional campaign.
Arsenal amassed 89 points last season after winning 28 games, losing 5, and drawing the same number, but it wasn’t enough for the London club to clinch the title that has been absent for 20 years.
Arsenal are currently in America on a pre-season friendly tour, and when asked about achieving the Premier League, Arteta replied, “Our goal next season is to achieve 114 points.”
He added, “If we achieve 114 points, we will win the league then, but now we have to focus on each match individually.”
It is worth noting that Arsenal won a friendly match against Bournemouth in America and will face Manchester United, Arsenal, Bayer Leverkusen, and Lyon before the start of the Premier League journey with a match against Wolverhampton on August 17.
