Aubameyang moves to surprise Saudi club

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will move to the Saudi league in the next few hours after his club Marseille reached an agreement with a surprise club in the Roshn League.

The Gabonese striker’s name has been linked in recent months with a move to Al-Shabab, and it was said that an agreement with the Lions was very close.

However, according to Saudi and French newspapers, Aubameyang will move to another Saudi club, Al-Qadisiyah, the latest addition to the Roshn League, and directly funded by Aramco oil company.

Negotiations are currently underway between Marseille and Al-Qadisiyah over the value of the deal, and it is not expected to prevent the two sides from reaching an agreement, especially since the French club is willing to sell the 33-year-old.

The value of Al-Qadisiyah’s contract with Aubameyang could exceed 25 million euros, while the player will receive 20 million euros annually, and his contract will extend for two years for a total of 40 million euros.

Aubameyang will be Al-Qadisiyah’s fifth foreign reinforcement this summer after the veteran club signed former Real Madrid star Nacho, Nahitan Nandez, Julian Quiñones and Belgian goalkeeper Koen Casteels.
