Ballon d’Or 2024 ranking

France Football magazine has begun announcing the final ranking of the list of nominees for the Ballon d’Or 2024.

A major controversy has been raised in the last few hours after Real Madrid confirmed to journalists that Vinicius Junior is not the winner of the award, unexpectedly, and the Spanish club decided to boycott the ceremony because of that.

In general, France Football magazine announces the ranking of a list of 30 players nominated for the award 3 hours before the ceremony, before announcing the identity of the winner on the Chatelet stage during the ceremony held in the French capital, Paris.
