Barcelona defender Jules Kounde has entered Arsenal’s plans to support the centre-back and right-back positions this summer, according to the newspaper “Sport”.
According to the report, communication has already arisen between Arsenal and Kounde’s camp in the past hours to explore the possibility of contracting with him this summer, but the player’s reaction has not been revealed yet.
The surprise that “Sport” caused was by confirming that Barcelona, in principle, does not mind listening to the offer made by Arsenal for Kounde, and does not rule out selling the player either.
Barcelona lists only 6 players who are not for sale: Ter Stegen, Pau Cubarsi, Pedri, Gavi, Fermin Lopez, and Lamine Yamal. As for the rest, there is an openness to their departure, provided that the appropriate financial offer is available.
The main reason for Barcelona’s decision is due to the difficult economic situation that the club is experiencing, and the need to sell at least one player in order to sign any new player.
