According to the Spanish network, Iniesta was satisfied with what he had offered in the world of football and decided to retire, and he will announce this at a press conference that day.
The “magician” spent last season with Emirates Club, but with the end of his contract he did not join any other club this season.
The Spanish international played for Barcelona for 18 years from 2002 to 2018, then moved to Vissel Kobe in Japan and spent 5 distinguished years there.
Iniesta won 32 titles with Barcelona, including 4 Champions Leagues, and was a key part of Spain’s Euro 2008 and 2012 triumphs and the 2010 World Cup. Iniesta has many personal achievements, most notably winning the European Player of the Year award in 2012.
