Mundo Deportivo reported that Barcelona player Vitor Roque missed training for the second day in a row, citing an injury.
The Brazilian player was at Barcelona’s headquarters on Sunday morning, but he did not participate in training and left the Catalan club after only half an hour.
The 19-year-old’s excuse for his second day of absence was that he was suffering from a fever, and this comes amid rumors that the player does not have a future at Camp Nou.
This news comes hours after it was reported that Barcelona officials agreed with Roque’s agent that the player would leave this summer on loan.
Due to the alleged injury and the simultaneous work on the player’s departure, Roque will not be with Hansi Flick’s squad in the Joan Gamper Trophy match against Monaco on Monday.
It should be noted that Roque has received a number of offers from the Italian league, and so far, Serie A is the closest destination for the Brazilian international after he refused to move to the Saudi league.
