Barcelona has reached an agreement with Bournemouth to sell their player Julian Araujo to the English club, with the deal expected to be finalized in the coming hours.
Araujo spent the past year on loan at Las Palmas, then returned and began the new season’s preparations with the Catalan giant under the leadership of Hansi Flick.
The Mexican realizes that he has no chance with Flick, who was clear about preferring other options at right-back, prompting him to seek an exit, which came through Bournemouth.
According to The Athletic, the English club will pay €10 million for Araujo, an amount that could solve many of Barca’s economic problems.
It is worth mentioning that Barcelona signed the 22-year-old in the summer of 2023 from Los Angeles Galaxy for €4 million.
