Mundo Deportivo reported that Ferran Torres will not be able to participate with Barcelona in the Clasico against Real Madrid due to injury.
Torres left the match between Barcelona and Alaves on Sunday after 4 minutes of the match due to a muscle injury.
According to the source, Torres is suffering from a muscle tear in his right foot, and it is unlikely that he will be able to participate in the match against Real Madrid scheduled for October 26 at the Santiago Bernabéu.
The Spanish international is expected to be absent from the stadiums for up to 8 weeks, or at best 5 weeks.
The 24-year-old will thus join the list of Barça injuries that includes goalkeeper Ter Stegen, Ronaldo Araujo, Andreas Christensen, Marc Perna, Gavi and Fermin Lopez, while Dani Olmo is supposed to be ready to participate after the end of the international break.
It is noteworthy that Torres participated with Barcelona this season in 10 matches, during which he scored one goal and made two other goals.
