Barcelona star decides to leave next January

The newspaper “Sport” revealed that Ansu Fati has decided to leave Barcelona next winter due to his lack of regular participation with coach Hansi Flick’s squad.

Fati returned to Barça last summer after a year-long loan to Brighton, and despite a good start in the preparation period, he was injured and was absent until mid-September.

Fati has not had the opportunity to participate much so far and feels that he is out of Flick’s calculations, which forced his agent Jorge Mendes to go to Barcelona and meet with president Joan Laporta and sporting director Deco to discuss this matter.

During the meeting, Mendes clearly stated that his client may leave in January, and from the Catalan club’s perspective, there is no objection to this.

As for Flick, he sees Fati as a winning card on the bench, but if he insists on leaving in January, he will not mind it because there are other players who can provide the same as the 21-year-old.

It remains to be noted that Fati has only played 132 minutes with Barcelona this season in all competitions, and he is the least striker who has played with Flick so far, which explains his desire to leave and revive his career again.
