Barcelona to Rake in Millions from US Tour, Especially El Clasico

“Mundo Deportivo” has revealed the huge profits that Barcelona will make from its tour to the United States in general, and from the match against Real Madrid in particular.

Barcelona played against Manchester City and won on penalties, and will then play a friendly El Clasico against Real Madrid, and will conclude its US tour with a match against another giant, Milan.

According to the latest report, Barcelona’s profits from the friendly tour in America will reach 8 million euros after deducting taxes and travel expenses.

From El Clasico alone, the Blaugrana’s coffers will be replenished by 5 million euros, and revenues can rise to 7 or 8 million euros from ticket sales, with another 3 million from the Milan match.

This additional income will help the Catalan club’s management, to some extent, overcome its severe economic crisis, which has so far prevented it from completing any official deal.

Barcelona will return to Spain after the Milan match, where they will face Monaco in the Joan Gamper Trophy friendly, then they will start their new season from Mestalla Stadium against Valencia in La Liga on August 17.
