Barcelona will play the Clasico match against Real Madrid in La Liga, wearing a very special shirt in partnership with its sponsor Spotify.
The Catalan club will meet Real Madrid on Sunday, October 26, at the Santiago Bernabéu, in the most watched match in the world.
Barcelona players appeared wearing a shirt with the logo of the English rock band “Coldplay” on the chest.
This is not the first time that Spotify has used it to promote music groups. In the first leg of the Clasico last season, Barcelona wore a shirt bearing the famous “owl” logo of the Canadian singer Drake, and in the second leg, Barça appeared with the logo of the Colombian singer Karol G.
Barcelona is historically linked to the famous band Coldplay, as the teams previously sang the song “Viva la vida”, which was considered the unofficial anthem for Pep Guardiola’s squad’s historic sextuple victory in 2009.
