Barcelona’s seven goals in Valencia.. A series of historical numbers led by Flick!

Barcelona achieved a historical result against Valencia, after defeating them 7-1 in the match of the 21st round of the Spanish League.

This victory is considered the biggest victory in Barcelona’s history over Valencia in the La Liga competition, and the second biggest victory overall after the 7-0 victory over Los Che in the King’s Cup in February 2016.

This is the first time that Valencia has conceded 7 goals in the Spanish League since 1955 when it happened against Deportivo Alaves.

This is also the first time that Barcelona has scored 7 goals in two matches in one season in La Liga since 2014.

Hansi Flick’s historical number appears now, and we are talking here about Barcelona reaching its 100th goal in just 32 matches in all competitions this season.

This is only the fourth time in Barça’s history that this achievement has been achieved, after the 1942-43 season (106 goals), 1958-59 (103 goals), 2011-12 (102) goals and this season 101 goals.

With this victory, Barcelona reached 42 points, reducing the gap with second-placed Atletico Madrid to just 3 points, while the gap with leaders Real Madrid remains 7 points.
