Bayern Munich is monitoring the “new Crouch” to replace Harry Kane

Sky Sports reported that Bayern Munich are planning to sign a replacement for Harry Kane in the Bavarian club’s attacking lineup, and one of the names being strongly suggested is the so-called “new Peter Crouch.”

The subject of the discussion here is Stuttgart striker Nick Woltemade, 23, who has exploded this season with the southern club.

Woltemade is known for his nearly two-meter (198 cm) height, which is why he is constantly compared to Crouch. However, the German possesses exceptional ability with his feet.

Bayern Munich sees Woltemade as an ideal choice to replace Kane next season. In addition to being German and not costing a lot of money, his potential this season confirms that he is a potential superstar for all of Germany, not just Bayern or Stuttgart.

Bayern Munich’s task of signing Woltemade will not be easy. His contract still runs until the summer of 2028, and Stuttgart is unlikely to sell him next summer. The most realistic scenario is for the deal to happen in the summer of 2026.

Woltemade moved to Stuttgart from Bremen on a free transfer last summer. This season, he has made 24 appearances in all competitions, scoring 12 goals and providing three assists for the Swabians.
