Because of Brazil… Zidane may return to coaching in two months!

Brazilian media outlets have reported intense negotiations between the Brazilian Football Confederation and current French national team coach Didier Deschamps to coach the Brazilian national team.

The Samba nation dismissed Dorival Junior as coach of the national team following the heavy defeat to Argentina during the last international break and is currently searching for a coach who can take over immediately during the June break.

Deschamps previously announced his departure from France after the 2026 World Cup and is preparing for a heated match against Spain in June in the UEFA Nations League semi-finals.

According to the latest report, Brazil has contacted Deschamps and offered him the job immediately, without revealing how the 2018 World Cup champion responded to the proposal.

If Deschamps decides to accept the Brazilian offer, it would mean his departure from France in the coming days and the arrival of Zinedine Zidane as coach of Les Bleus starting next June.

It is unlikely that Deschamps will accept the offer, as all indications indicate that he wants to participate in the next World Cup with France as a natural option, unless the Brazilian offer brings different financial and sporting incentives.

It is noteworthy that French sources unanimously agree that there is an agreement between the French Federation and Zidane for him to take over after the 2026 World Cup.

It is also worth noting that Brazil is negotiating with several other names to succeed Junior, the most recent of which was Jose Mourinho, along with Carlo Ancelotti, Jorge Jesus, Manuel Pellegrini, and Abel Ferreira.
