Mundo Deportivo newspaper confirmed that the Paris Saint-Germain administration is preparing a fantastic offer for its Barcelona counterpart to sign Lamine Yamal during the current summer Mercato.
So far, the PSG administration has not compensated for the departure of Kylian Mbappe, but it seems that Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s administration is placing Yamal as its first choice and is willing to spend a huge sum to obtain his services.
According to the report, Paris offered Barcelona last March 200 million euros to sign Yamal, and this was announced by President Joan Laporta without mentioning the name of the French club.
At that time, Barcelona refused to sell Yamal, but the hopes of Paris Saint-Germain did not give up and will try again to include the player by raising the offer to 250 million euros, thus making the Spanish player the most expensive in the history of football ever.
The 16-year-old’s contract with Barcelona extends until the summer of 2026, and Mundo Deportivo confirms that there is no intention to give up the owner of Moroccan origins, regardless of the financial offer presented by Paris or any other club.
Barcelona views Yamal as the most important talent in the world of football and cannot be replaced by any other player, so he will not be sold under any circumstances.
Yamal had previously announced that he did not want to leave Barcelona, and there is relief within the Barcelona administration due to the player’s position, which currently does not care much about money and is focused only on development.
