Breakthrough in Salah-Liverpool Negotiations

Journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Mohamed Salah is very close to renewing his contract with Liverpool after a major breakthrough in negotiations in the final hours.

Negotiations between the two players had stalled due to disagreements over salary and contract length. In recent weeks, the two sides reached an agreement on a two-year renewal, but the salary dispute remains.

According to Romano, negotiations between Salah and Liverpool are currently in their final stages, with both parties having reached a near-agreement on all outstanding details.

Liverpool’s success will not be limited to Salah; negotiations with Virgil van Dijk are also in very advanced stages, and it is only a matter of time before the official announcement of the renewal of his and Salah’s contracts.

No details have been revealed regarding Salah’s or Van Dijk’s new salaries, or how Liverpool’s management succeeded in resolving the disputes with them. However, what is certain is that they are closer than ever to staying.

Meanwhile, and unless new developments emerge, Trent Alexander-Arnold’s exit is certain, after the player reached an agreement with Real Madrid, pending the signing of the contracts.
