Real Madrid star Dani Carvajal expressed his wish that his teammate in the Spanish national team and Manchester City star, Rodri, would join the Royal Club one day.
Rodri is considered one of the most important pillars of Pep Guardiola’s squad, and after last season’s distinguished season, the player’s brilliance did not stop and he was an important reason for Spain reaching the Euro 2024 final.
In an interview, Carvajal was asked about Rodri, to which he replied, “I tell him every day that he has to come to Real Madrid.”
He also added, “I tell him that he has to leave Manchester, there is no sun, and I urge him to come to Real Madrid, because we really need him.”
As for how Rodri responded to that, he said, “He only tells me that he has a contract with Manchester City, but I think he would be an ideal choice for us.”
Rordi previously represented Real’s eternal rival, Atletico Madrid, for a year, before moving to Manchester City in the summer of 2019 for 70 million euros.
