Real Madrid star Dani Carvajal reassured the stars of the royal club about his recovery process, indicating that he will return stronger than ever.
Carvajal suffered a tear in 3 ligaments in his knee, and the latest reports were talking about the Spanish international’s intention to recover before the start of the 2025 Club World Cup.
The 33-year-old appeared after a period of absence and spoke about his condition, saying, “I feel like an animal.. The recovery process is going well.”
He answered a question about whether he would be able to return to his level after this difficult injury, “I will return to my best condition as I was before.. There is no doubt about that.”
Carvajal was also asked about Kylian Mbappe, to which he replied, “He is clearly a leader. He is one of the best players in the world, if not the best.”
“He has integrated into the group from day one in a fantastic way, he is a great boy and one of us. It seems like he has been here for five or six years.”
Carvajal’s high praise for Mbappé comes after the French star recently shone and reached goal number 22 with Real Madrid, scoring his first hat-trick in the last match against Valladolid.
