Dani Carvajal has confirmed that he will not play in Europe again if he leaves Real Madrid, out of respect and appreciation for the royal club.
Carvajal’s contract with Real Madrid still extends until the summer of 2025, and it is expected that the coming days will witness negotiations to extend the player’s stay at the Santiago Bernabeu for another year.
The Spanish international was asked about his destination if he leaves Real Madrid, to which he replied, “I will not play for any club in Europe except Real Madrid, this is out of respect for them.”
He concluded, “If all parties agree, I want to renew my contract with Real Madrid.. It is what I have always wanted, and what I want now.”
Carvajal’s statements come days after other statements in which he hinted at his desire to have an experience playing in the United States if he leaves Real Madrid.
It is noteworthy that the closest trend is for the 33-year-old to continue at Real Madrid, especially after his fantastic season last year and being one of the reasons for the local double, and then Spain achieving Euro 2024.
