Al-Nassr announced in an official statement the termination of the contract of its player Alex Telles after a single season within the walls of “Knight of Najd”.
Al-Nassr said in the statement, “The club’s management agreed with the Brazilian player Alex Telles to terminate the contract by mutual consent”.
According to Portuguese media, Telles, 31 years old, is on his way to join one of the Turkish league clubs for free.
Al-Nassr’s decision to terminate Telles’ contract comes as part of its efforts to sign another foreign player before the end of the summer Mercato in Saudi Arabia.
According to Saudi reports, Al-Nassr was forced to pay 6 million euros to Telles in order to sign a financial settlement and terminate the contract between the two parties by mutual consent.
Telles joined Al-Nassr for 4.6 million euros from Sevilla in the summer of 2023, and his contract with “Al-Alamy” extended until the summer of 2025.
Telles played a total of 38 matches with Al-Nassr, scoring 3 goals and making 5 others.
