According to Sport newspaper, Barcelona’s management is hoping for an offer from Saudi club Al-Hilal to sign Victor Roque during the current summer transfer window.
Roque joined Barca last winter for more than €40 million, but he has failed to secure a regular place or even a spot on the bench under Xavi Hernandez and later Hansi Flick.
It has become clear that the Blaugrana want the young Brazilian player to leave, and there is no better proof of this than the fact that his shirt number 19 has been taken away from him and given to rising star Lamine Yamal.
According to Sport’s report, Barcelona’s management is looking for a way out for Roque and is now ready to discuss any offer that could bring economic solutions to help the club in the summer transfer window.
In recent days, rumors have circulated about Al-Hilal’s interest in the 19-year-old, and Barcelona believe this is their perfect opportunity to get rid of the player.
If Al-Hilal does decide to move forward with signing Roque, they could offer Barcelona a good financial deal similar to what Al-Ahli Jeddah did with Franck Kessie last summer.
However, Al-Hilal’s position is still unclear at the moment, while Lazio’s interest is the most prominent despite the weak financial offer, as Roque is no longer against leaving Barcelona due to the difficulty of adapting to the Camp Nou atmosphere.
