With the Belgian international absent, Andriy Lunin will make his 11th appearance for Real Madrid this season.
Lunin has kept four clean sheets in La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Champions League, conceding 14 goals.
Real Madrid will also be without injured duo Dani Ceballos and Ferland Mendy, as well as long-term absentees Dani Carvajal and Éder Militao.
Real Madrid is second in La Liga, three points behind leaders Barcelona, after the latter’s victory over Osasuna on Thursday.
