Manchester United star, Noussair Mazraoui, has made a surprise return to training with the English club days after undergoing heart surgery.
The Moroccan international suffered a heart attack and underwent corrective surgery on October 10, and it was said that he would be out of action for at least a month.
According to an official statement from Manchester United, Mazraoui resumed his participation in the team’s training on Thursday in preparation for the Brentford match on Saturday.
Mazraoui’s participation in the match remains in doubt, as it is most likely that he will be on the bench or out of the list at best, given that he has only participated in two training sessions and it is not certain that he has fully recovered from his heart problems.
Mazraoui joined Manchester United last summer from Bayern Munich in a deal that cost the English club 15 million euros.
The 26-year-old has made 10 appearances for Erik ten Hag’s side in all competitions this season, providing one assist.
It is worth noting that Manchester United will certainly lose the services of the duo Kobe Mainoo and Harry Maguire against Brentford for a period of time due to injury.
