Barcelona coach, Hansi Flick, confirmed that he understands how angry Dani Olmo is at the moment due to his lack of participation in matches so far with the Catalan club.
Barcelona are unable to register Olmo in their squad due to fair play rules, and he missed the matches against Valencia and Athletic Bilbao and will most likely miss the match against Rayo Vallecano on Tuesday.
In the press conference before the third round of La Liga, Flick said about Olmo’s non-registration, “These are matters that neither we nor the player himself can control.”
He also added, “We are fully aware that things are difficult here at Barcelona, but my faith in the club is great and my hopes are high that we will be able to register him before tomorrow’s match.”
He concluded in this regard, “Any player who cannot play will not be happy and this is the case with Olmo, but he knows the reason for the crisis, and I am confident that he will be ready to participate 100% when he is registered.”
As for the possibility of Barcelona making other deals before the end of the summer transfer window, Flick replied, “I’m not thinking about it and I’m focusing on the players I already have now and I’m really happy to work with them. If we succeed in making other reinforcements, that’s okay, but I’m fine.”
