De Bruyne reaches agreement with Saudi club

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne has informed club officials of his agreement to join the ranks of the Saudi club in the current summer transfer window.

Earlier, De Bruyne had announced his openness to joining the Saudi league to earn more money, before coming out and saying that he would complete his career with Manchester City and might renew his contract beyond the summer of 2025.

According to the latest report, De Bruyne has finalized his agreement with Al-Ittihad management on all personal details, and has given the club the green light to start negotiations with Manchester City on a potential deal before the end of the current transfer window.

Manchester City officials usually do not stand in the way of big players if they want to leave, which increases the possibility of completing the deal, although the financial compensation that the English club will demand will not be small in any case.

It is worth noting that Al-Ittihad this summer has signed coach Laurent Blanc, then added Houssem Aouar from Roma, and is expected to make more major deals to regain its prestigious position in the Saudi league after the disappointing last season.
