Death of Moroccan national team star due to heart attack

The Moroccan Football Federation mourned the star Abdelaziz Barrada after his sudden death on Thursday due to a heart attack.

The 35-year-old had a great career in football, and represented the Moroccan national team between 2012 and 2015.

According to Moroccan media, Barrada did not suffer from heart disease or anything like that, and his death came very suddenly while he was in France.

Barrada’s career started with Paris Saint-Germain B, and his most prominent moment was when he reached the first team of Getafe and was one of the stars of the Spanish club between 2011 and 2013.

Barrada then played for Al-Jazira in the Emirates, then returned to Europe through Marseille, from where he moved to Al-Nasr in the Emirates, and then played for Antalyaspor in Turkey, Gimanstec in Spain, and Al-Shahaniya in Qatar.

In 2021, Barrada had his last experience with the Listonoa team, then announced his retirement from football.

It is noteworthy that Barrada was one of the stars of the Moroccan Olympic team in the African Cup qualifying for the 2012 Olympics, and played 28 international matches for the “Atlas Lions” during which he scored 4 goals.
