Omar Marmoush, Manchester City star, expressed his disappointment with his team’s draw with Brighton despite scoring a goal.
The Egyptian international told English media after the match, “I scored the goal today, but in the end, it wasn’t enough to get the three points, so I didn’t feel good.”
He added, “Everyone is great here at City. I’m trying to learn and listen to the coach and everything he tells us. We’ll keep going.”
Marmoush will travel to Egypt for World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia and Sierra Leone, before returning for an important FA Cup match against Bournemouth.
Regarding that match, Marmoush said, “It’s a big game like any other. We’ll try to win, and I’m sure if we give our best on the pitch, we’ll have a better chance.”
It is noteworthy that Marmoush has contributed to 38 goals this season with City and Eintracht Frankfurt, scoring 24 and assisting 14 others.
