Mundo Deportivo newspaper reported that there are 6 clubs in the five major leagues that want to sign Victor Roque from Barcelona on loan next summer.
The Brazilian has so far failed to provide the expected addition to the Catalan club after he joined last January, which prompted the management to plan to loan him out until he gets used to the atmosphere of European football.
The “Mundo Deportivo” report indicates that there are many believers in Roque’s abilities in Europe, which is what Barcelona wants to exploit to bring out the best in the player and then return him again as a star to Camp Nou.
The top clubs interested in signing Roque are Manchester United, while Napoli, Lyon, Sevilla and Real Betis have also inquired about the 19-year-old’s situation.
In general, and whatever the next offer for him is, Barcelona does not intend to sell Rocky under any name, and will limit the matter to loaning him to gain experience and minutes and nothing more.
The report stressed that the news circulating about the possibility of the Brazilian being involved in a swap deal with Joao Felix to join Atletico Madrid and the Portuguese to remain in Catalonia is completely false.
It remains to be noted that Roque, for whom 40 million euros were paid, only participated in 310 minutes during the past four months with Xavi Hernandez’s squad, and he did not play a single minute in the Champions League.
