Al-Riyadiah newspaper set the date for Neymar’s return to participate again with Al-Hilal after a long period of absence due to injury.
The Brazilian international has been away from matches since he suffered a cruciate ligament tear last October while participating with his country in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
According to the latest report, Neymar’s recovery process is going well, but it is unlikely that he will see him on the field soon.
The 31-year-old will not return until the first of next September, specifically after the first two rounds of the Saudi League.
Thus, Neymar will not play in the Saudi Super Cup competition, which is scheduled for mid-August and will include Al-Nasr, Al-Taawoun and Al-Ahly.
Neymar will not participate in the pre-season, but will be registered in the team’s roster so that he can play as soon as he recovers.
