Kylian Mbappe’s participation with Real Madrid on the annual tour of the United States will depend on which stage the French national team reach at Euro 2024.
According to AS newspaper, Real Madrid will travel to America next July 28 to begin playing a number of friendlies, as is the case annually.
Coach Carlo Ancelotti decided that the entire list of Real Madrid players would go to America, with the exception of those whose teams reached the semi-finals of Euro 2024 or the Copa America.
The reason for this is to give these players the necessary rest before the start of the long new season, especially since the season is extended until July 2025 for Real Madrid to participate in the Club World Cup.
On this basis, Mbappe, Dani Carvajal, Vinicius Junior, Rodrigo and Fede Valverde are the closest to not participating in the American tour unless surprises occur and their teams are eliminated early from the Euros and Copa America.
It is noteworthy that Mbappe will likely need to undergo surgery on his broken nose after Euro 2024, which increases the chances of him not traveling to America with Real Madrid.
