Radio Monte Carlo revealed the truth about what was said that Lamine Yamal deliberately mocked Kylian Mbappe after the match between Spain and France in the Euro 2024 semi-finals.
The media had captured a video of Yamal in the tunnel leading to the dressing room, holding a ninja mask as if he was mocking Mbappe, who played 4 Euro matches wearing a medical mask.
But according to the report, Yamal was in no way planning or intending to make fun of Mbappe, it’s just a coincidence.
It turned out that a fan of the Spanish national team had given Yamal this mask after the match, and that the player accepted the gift and then gave the mask to an official of the Spanish Football Federation.
